Does bestbuy.com allow american express gift cards?

i have a gift card i want to use, but i'm not sure bestbuy accepts it or not, the online payment information allows american express, but it asks for credit card...or is it all the same?

1. Yes. The gift card can be used just like an American Express card.
2. Yes, you can use your American express gift card to shop online on best buy. But before you do that, you need to register your American express gift card with the card issuer (add your name and address to the card), otherwise it may be rejected online.
