Gift Card Resources

anybody kno anything about american express gift cards?!?!?!?!?!?

okay so i got some american express gift cards for christmas and i thought they could be used ANYWHERE..but when i went to fashion bug they told me they dont accept them. so im tryin to look online for stores that do accept them and i was wondering if anyone else had ever used them and if they are accepted at the following stores: aeropastale american eagle wet seal shoe dept. pac sun please and thanks for the help =)

1. They claim to be accepted everywhere that American Express is accepted and for the most part they are. Fashion Bug may not accept american express or they may have chosen not to deal with it because there are problems sometimes with the cards. For instance when i had some you were not allowed to go over the limit on the card even if you were going to pay with the card. Hope this helped and good luck! when you walk into the store just as the person at the door if they accept them!
2. I use it and it worked everywhere I went :) I used it at Victoria's Secret, Starbucks, Abercrombie, etc. I wouldn't worry about it...I bet it'll work in those stores ;D
3. Well, some stores don't accept American Express at all. It usually comes with a fee that shops don't want to pay. You should be fine as long as the store accepts American Express credit cards. Make sure to ask before you shop. My Fashion Blog: http://la-fashion-a-la-mode.blogspot.com
4. Yeah, all those stores accept them.
5. well i know own thing about american express cards. if you dont use them in the first month you get it, the they will take off $2 for every month you dont use it. its retarted :P
