are yahoo gretting e-cards safe to send.??

i usally send free e-cards thur yahoo but are american greeting cards .. now i get e-mail saying not safe to send ??? so whats the scoop?? are they or aren't they safe to send . they are very nice cards. also if member, how much is cost per year to get the nicer cards ...

1. I have never had any problems using Yahoo e-cards.
2. Neither Yahoo! nor American Greetings is in the business of transmitting viruses. Their e-cards are perfectly safe. What the email may be referring to is that are many illegitimate e-cards from shady web sites that do contain viruses, trojans or spyware. But if you stick with e-cards from well-known companies such as American Greetings or Hallmark, you have nothing to worry about. As far as I recall, a subscription to Yahoo! Greetings is about $14 per year for unlimited access to all the cards and no limit on how many you can send.
