I have two American Express gift cards, is there anyway to get the funds to myself in cash?

I have two American Express gift cards, is there anyway to get the funds to myself in cash? Could I use Paypal to transfer the funds or has this gift card system set up a trap where it's nearly impossible to get 100% of the money out of the card? Thanks

2. You could try going to the bank and seeing if they can cash them for you. or call Am Ex and see what they can do for you.
