can i use two visa gift cards for one item through paypal?

i've used visa gift cards before to buy items on ebay via paypal. I want to buy a 150 dollar phone but where im from the largest gift card any store sells is a 100 dollar one. could i buy two 100 dollar cards, link them both to my paypal, and have the money taken from both or does it have to be all on the same card? thanks.

1. Since the upward limit of any purchased Visa Debit is $100 you would have to use 2 cards and it will be no problem. You could also apply for a debit card with your bank then you will have a limit of $300 per transaction (unless you have approval for large item purchase.) Good Luck!
