Are there any prepaid credit cards that work like a gift card?
I just want to make purchases online. I want something with no fees. I do not have a bank account.

- there is such a thing its called a prepaid Visa or master-card. Works the same as a debit card. you can find it on the web or at a grocery store
- If you go to your local bank, you can purchase a visa gift card. Works like a credit card with no fees. look carefully at the terms, some of the ones at CVS charge a fee for the card, its in the fine print on the back of the package, or they charge a monthly fee.
- You just have to keep buying either visa, mastercard, or american express gift cards. The bad part is you cant keep using the same card
- You have two options. The short-term option is to get a prepaid American Express credit card. You should be able to get this card at your local grocery/drug store in the gift cards section. This option is the fastest with the least hassle, but you will be paying a few bucks over the value of the card. Also this card will have absolutely no affect on your credit record. The long-term option, which will also help develop your credit at the same time, is to open a bank account and ask for a secured credit card as well. If you make your payments on this card in a timely manner, you actually develop your credit as well.
