Can you use gift cards online?

I received a few gift cards for christmas but can I use them for online shopping? I tried to pay for something on the New Look website but I couldn't see any way of paying by gift card. Does anyone know whether it's possible?

2. i don't know about that website but the majority of others let you pay with a gift card. it depends on where you go every store is different
3. Some do and some don't. Just read their policy before you try to buy something.
4. It depends on the merchant. Some merchants do not allow you to use their gift cards online. Look at the back of the card and it will tell you the places where you can use the card. Also, the merchant's website should have an FAQ about gift cards and that should have that information.
