how can i exchange walmart gift cards for cash?

i got a bunch of walmart gift cards for christmas and i would like to some how exchange it for money....can i just go 2 walmart? i know if u buy sumthing with a giftcard and return it they just give you a gift card back....

1. No can do. You have to spend them there.
2. You can sell them to friends. They sell for a slight discount. $50 sells for $45 cash..
3. There are a couple of websites that let you trade gift cards for other types of gift cards of the same value (ex: www.cardavenue.com). For instance, you can trade your walmart card for a best buy card of the same value. You can also sell your gift card on ebay for a slight discount, which is what i usually do when i want to get rid of them. Also if you happen to live in California or know someone from there you should be able to get a cash refund for a gift card from the retailer if it is less then 10 dollars (new law).
