Can multiple gift cards be used during one purchase?

I want to buy this camera at circuit city and I have like 5 gift cards that sum up to about $250, but the camera cost around $300. Will the cashier accept these gift cards all at once? OR Can i put the camera on layaway and pay with a gift card during each visit?

1. Yes, they'll take all five and apply them to your purchase. Then you'll pay what they didn't cover however you normally would (cash, check, charge).
2. They should . Gift cards are like debit cards.
3. I would suppose it would be like using multiple fifty dollar bills...I suppose however it depends on the business you are dealing with.
