Can I buy a VISA gift card with an American Express gift card?

Reason why I'm asking is I have an American Express gift card but it's not compatible with Paypal, whereas I know VISA gift cards are compatible.

3. Sort of... There is a fee attached. So you cannot buy a $50 Visa gift card with a $50 American Express gift card. The fee adds about $5 to the cost. Otherwise yes. You can buy a gift card with a gift card.
