Can I use 2 gift cards to buy something online?

If I have 2 gift cards and I want to buy clothing online would I possibly be able to use both cards to pay for it? I don't want to make separate orders because I will be charged twice for shipping. ONLINE ONLY! not at the stores.

1. I am pretty sure you can use as many giftcards as you want. I work at target and have seen people use like 10 giftcards to purchase things.
