Do you get receipts for prepaid gift cards?

Really I don't care a bout receipts I just want to know if the person who gave me the card would be able to see what I bought with it. Question was kinda misleading. I just got one as a gift but I am a bit reluctant to use it since I am not sure if who ever gave me the card will be able to see what I bought with it. I am not going to buy anything bad with it I was just wondering. I just feel a bit uneasy about somebody looking at everything I bought, especially since I don't really know the person who gave me the card.

1. I doubt that is possible. There would be alot of hoops and strings that person would have to jump through... and still don't think he/she would be able to see. No, I think you are fine. What you can do (if you are still worried) by another gift card from the store with your gift card. Then use that gift card. :) -There might be tax. Sorry if I came off as silly, but it is a honest idea I had.
