Is all the Kohls free gift cards a gimmic?

I got a free $500 gift card for Khols through email, but in order to claim they wanted all this info. so if I didnt finish the prep for the card recieving will I still get it in the mail? And I got it out of my spam folder so is that more of a reason to call it a gimmic?

  1. Don't go for it, honey. It's all a big gimmic designed to obtain personal information from you. If you need verification, just call Kohl headquarters (you can get the phone number from your local Kohl's store) and they'll give you the information on this hoax. Be safe out there on the net!
  2. SCAM. Don't do it. You can call Kohl's directly to verify (866) 887-8884 or in this case notify that they are using Kohl's name for a fraudulent purpose.
  3. There is nothing free in this world. These people just want to collect more information about you. Don't let them do it, do not use their "free" card.
  4. Yes. This is a gimmick to get you to tell advertisers your personal information. The sad part is that once you do this, they release this information to other sites who will continue to inundate your email account with offers. Remember: Anything that seems to good to be true is probably no good! Even if you didn't get the prep finished for the card, you will still get crap emails from other sites, because the screen you fill in is logged as you type. Also, do not use the 'spam' removal that these emails include in their messages. That only confirms that your email exists and then you will be inundated with even more garbage emails!
