can you used prepaid gift cards to buy stuff on the internet?

Hi I recently got a Wal*mart prepaid gift card, and I was wondering if you can buy stuff on the internet with it. The card doesn't have my name on it but I really want to buy something off the internet and I want to use the card instead of my parent's credit card can I do that? It's $100 gift card idk just in case you guys needed to know.
