How do I promote by own greeting cards?

How do I go about promoting and marketing my own greeting cards, the cards I create are illustrated by myself. Would I have to hire an agent? What other sources could I look into?. Thank You Everyone.

1. Create your own website and post them on there. Get a domain name and ask the provider to set you up with HITS. That way, it will attrack people to view your site. Also, you can sell them on e-by which is allowed. That would be a fast way of promoting your business online for a minimal fee.
