Can I use a walmart gift card to buy more gift cards?

I have a $750 gift card to Walmart. But I want to use it to buy other gift cards of smaller amounts so that I can use them as gifts. Can I do this?

  1. yes you can but if I was you, go to the store and ask for a CSM to help you do that. The cashier might get confused.
  2. From my understanding, no gift card can be used to purchase another gift card. The back of the card should explain what you can purchase with it.
  3. yes, a walmart gift card can be used for anything that is sold by walmart. go to the cashier and tell the cashier the amounts on each gift card. then swipe your gift card at the debit machine. hit the payment key, the cashier will then hit two buttons and then all approved!
