Does Singapore accept American Express gift cards?

Ok, so I want to enter a contest on YouTube, that gives free gifts of Jovan Satisfaction perfume and cologne (that I really want) but it also gives an American Express gift card. problem is, I'm not sure if Singapore accepts gift cards by American Express. Any Singaporeans that know if it's accepted?
