Can you add more money to a American express gift card?

My mom got me an American express gift card yesterday and i was wondering if i can add more money to it instead of buying a new gift card. And if i can....where can I add money to it?

1. Turn over card. See 1800 number and call. There is a thing called a phone. Go to the Amex site and look as an alternative. There is something called a search engine.
