What will happen to me if I did this?

I post this here, cause I know its where most people answer questions: I was recently on American Eagle's website and found some boxer briefs I really like. I decided to buy it online so I do not have to have a strange conversation with my mom when I get them. My total was around 20 dollars. I added my access card, a low amount gift card, and a promotion code, which brought my total to around 12 dollars. I then entered an American Express gift card and then hit "order". I found out my American Express card is only for 8 dollars. What will happen? Will I be charged? Ehms: But its a gift card.. not connected to any actual money.

2. If you didn't submit enough money, they won't ship the item. They also won't charge off the gift cards so you will still have the money on them.
