do prepaid gift cards work like prepaid credit/debit cards?

do prepaid gift cards have their own credit card number and cv2 numbers? basicly could it substitute for a prepaid credit card?

3. prepaid gift cards could only be spent in the store that you bought them in. They are like a credit card in the way that they can be used over and over again, but only until you spend all the money that the card was bought with. I'm sure you know what a credit card is, and how you could go above the limit of tmoney thats in your bank account! the number 1 cause for debt in america. Well there's an easier way! A prepaid credit card. It''s just like a credit card! and a gift card put together. You don't have to be 18 to buy it, and you could buy it at any walmart or walgreen. etc. There's just a fee of 3-10 dollars to deposit money. You could spend it online, not just at the store you bought it form, and all you have to do is have the money upfront to buy it and deposit money into it, it will not extend your credit. You do not need bad credit to use it, the onyl thing is it will not make your credit better... Another opiton would be a pre paid GIFT credit card. It's a prepaid credit , ecept you can not deposit money into it. It's a one time use card. You coudld spend it anywhere that ecepts credit cards, and online. The only bad thing is, no mroe depositing more money, AND ONCE ITS USED UP, ITS DONE.
