What happens to Walmart gift cards that are sent back to Walmart?

I ordered a Walmart gift card on the Walmart website but it never made it to the receiver, she was on vacation. The US mail sent the gift card back to Walmart. Will Walmart refund my money?

1. You need to let the Walmart where you purchased the gift certificate know this information - they won't just automatically refund YOU the money because you gave it as a gift - they want to deliver to the person it was intended for - they don't know she was on vacation or where she may be
