using walmart gift cards?

can walmart gift cards be used when making purchases online or can they only be used in the stores if you can use them online do you have to purchase something the same amount or less as the card or can you purchase something more then what is on the card and put the card towards it? thanks

1. It's the same as buying something in the store. Although I believe u still have to use your debit or credit card to send it to your home. You don't have to use the full amount on the card either. Site to Store is free and should take between 7-10 business days.
2. You can use it online or in-store. If the balance of the online purchase is more than the gift card balance, you'll just need to pay the difference with another form of payment (gift card, credit card, debit card). Good luck!
