Can you use amazon gift cards to buy online game codes?

Hi, I've got $25 worth of gift cards to spend on amazon.com. I would like to know if it's possible to buy an online game code using gift cards. Every time I click to buy an online game code it asks me to input my credit card details, if I do input my credit card details will the $25 count towards the purchase? Thankyou.

1. Nope. But sometimes you can but the codes of amazon. For example Microsoft points can be purchased online, and it will tell you a code to enter in your xbox, then you can redeem the points. It works for some games, not all, but some. Or you can purchase a game card off amazon, and when it arrives use it. Thats about all you can do.
