do stores allow employees to buy discounted gift cards?
Do stores (walmart, meijer, kmart, sears, sams club... ect ect) allow their emplyees to use their discounts (usually 20%) to buy gift cards? I'm kinda doubting this because emplyees could then save 20% on the card then another 20% on their order (even more if the gift card was used to buy more discounted gift cards) Just a random question i just thought of. i f***ing hate spam...

- Discounts do not apply to gift cards because no PRODUCT or SALE is occurring. When you buy a $100 gift card, you pay $100. THEN you use the discount to purchase the item FROM the gift card.
- No, they do not. The reason for this is because those gift cards are actually from a company entirely their own -ie you can buy a Chili's Gift card at Walmart. But only Chili's can LEGALLY give you a discount when you enter their restaraunt, not because you purchased the card adn you're the Wal-Mart employee.
